Talk of the Town / Professional Business Mixer
On the evening of October 30th, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of foreign residents at Peninsula Funeral Care. Organized by Nohemi Romeri, Municipal Tourism Coordinator, the evening's agenda was "Navigating Life and Death as an Expatriate in Baja California Sur." We also heard from Maribel Silva, a U.S. consular official, who shared valuable information on practices and procedures relevant to those living abroad. The evening concluded with remarks from Guillermo Rivelino, Director of Nautical Festivals, who shared the calendar of community events and celebrations during the Day of the Dead (“Dia de Muertos”) commemorative season. The foreign residents mingled and enjoyed complimentary drinks and refreshments provided by Peninsula Funeral Care. The presentations were well-received and lively discussion continued late into the evening. Thank you to all the participants!
La noche del 30 de octubre, tuvimos el placer de recibir a un grupo de residentes extranjeros en Peninsula Funeral Care. Organizada por Nohemi Romeri, Coordinadora Municipal de Turismo, la velada se centró en "Cómo navegar la vida y la muerte como expatriado en Baja California Sur". También escuchamos a Maribel Silva, funcionaria consular estadounidense, quien compartió información valiosa sobre prácticas y procedimientos relevantes para quienes viven en el extranjero. La velada concluyó con las palabras de Guillermo Rivelino, Director de Festivales Náuticos, quien compartió el calendario de eventos y celebraciones comunitarias durante la temporada conmemorativa del Día de Muertos. Los residentes extranjeros convivieron y disfrutaron de bebidas y refrigerios de cortesía proporcionados por Peninsula Funeral Care. Las presentaciones fueron muy bien recibidas y el animado debate se prolongó hasta bien entrada la noche. ¡Gracias a todos los participantes!
